Course Briefing

The main goal of DIALux is to offer the lighting designer the best assistance in performing regular designs. As core DIALux values, openness and accessibility are important to us. Each and every person can use DIALux. Whether a technical or design background, whether a student or a professional background. It can be found everywhere in the world.

 

Supporting both small and large manufacturers, in 25 languages, with regional and international standards included. You can start designing Electrical lighting system designs for any projects after this course with a little more self-practice and 1-2 years of quality experience in the industry.

Course Objectives

​

The objective of this course includes but is not limited to the followings:

  • Understanding of electric luminaries’ design for commercial, residential or industrial project.

  • ï‚· Luminaries calculation

  • Plan light for complex architecture. From entire buildings with several floors to single rooms 

  • Plan individual outdoor scenes like green areas, paths, parking spaces or road lighting

  • The platform for freelance jobs in the lighting industry. Busy lighting designers who need help with a project can find the right support among hundreds of professionals or register themselves as freelancers free of charge and without obligation.

  • In the DIALux Academy, participants learn what they need to know for lighting design. DIAL shows how to plan and control light and imparts technical know-how. Participants also learn how to implement projects quickly and efficiently with DIALux.

Cetification Pre-Requisite:

  • A four-year degree

  • 12 months of hands on experience

  • 12 hours of class room training

— OR —

  • A diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)

  • 60 months hands on experience

  • 30 hours of class room training

Evaluation 

  • Learning outcomes are evaluated through a psychometric test.

  • 30-minute online AI proctored test.

  • Multiple choice question.

  • No negative marking.

  • Attend exams from anywhere.
