Course Briefing

In this course, learners will learn how to identify and design different components for Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning systems for Industry and commercial projects.

The discussion will start focusing on the basics of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning design; as the course moves forward, you are going to learn the practical design of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning systems, which includes but is not limited to basic theory, AHU, FCU, FAU, Dehumidifier, Chiller, cooling tower, building load calculation, ducting design, piping design of hydronic and VRF system.

After this course, with a little more self-practice and 2-3 years of quality time in the industry, you can start designing an HVAC system for any project on your own.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course includes but is not limited to the followings:

  • Holistic understanding of HVAC system design. 

  • Introduction with different components of the HVAC system 

  • Know how to design a vapor compression-based cooling system 

  • Know how to design a hydronic cooling system 

  • Design of different types of ducts 

  • Load calculation 

  • Piping designs 

  • The practical design of an HVAC system.

Cetification Pre-Requisite:

  • A four-year degree

  • 12 months of hands on experince

  • 30 hours of class room training

  • Learning outcomes are evaluated through a psychometric test.

  • 60-minute online AI proctored test.

  • Multiple choice question.

  • No negative marking.

  • Questions are in four primary domains Basic, Air Distribution, Load Calculation & Piping.
