      • This document is called learners manual of Bridge Academy. 

      • The learners' manual guides a learner to complete a course by providing all the information that’s required.

      • Bridge Academy is a non-formal learning service provider specialized in post-graduate engineering and management training offering a variety of courses concerning professional development by ensuring value-added quality learning services.

      • Learners are our biggest concern and we work with learners for their development by identifying needs and providing learning services that bridge learners' gap to become successful in their profession.

  2. Scope

    • Scope of this document

      • This document is for prospective learners and learners only.

      • The scope of this document includes but not limited to, providing necessary information regarding registration, participation & evaluation of training programs. Enrolling in a course

    • Selecting a course

      •  Learners can get detail course outline from course catalogue.

      • Course catalogue is available at online and by direct contact with course coordinator.

      • Learner may receive demo class recording if available from course coordinator.

      •  If learners goals and expectation reflects the course content outline the learner should contact with the course coordinator to proceed with registration.

    • Meeting minimum requirement to attend the course.

      • Minimum requirement set for any course are available in course catalogue. Learner must check them to proceed further with registration. In case learner have any confusion, learner can contact course coordinator for clarification. 

    • Filling up learners need assessment form

      • Leaner must fill up the learners need assessment form and sign it, to start the registration.

      • If learner has any query during completing need assessment form. The learner must contact with course coordinator for clarification.

      •  As learners’ registration request gets accepted, the course coordinator will contact him through email and learner can proceed for payment as per instruction of course coordinator.

    • Payment of the course

      •  Course fees are descripted in advertisement published by Bridge Academy.

      • Learner can further clarify course payment details from sales support team.

      •  Payment has to be made in full by bank transfer or e-transfer methods mentioned as in course catalogue.

      •  After payment sales support will send e-invoice to the learner.

      •  Issues related with transaction has to be communicated with sales support.

    • Access of the course content

      • Course content as described in the course catalogue will be delivered to learner via e-mail by the course coordinator before the start date of the course for both online & offline classes.

      •  Part of the course content can be delivered at progressive manner after each class. 

    • Course schedule

      • Course schedule are confirmed to the learner before the course start date.

      • Course date can be revised during the course with a 48 hours notification by the course coordinator. 

      •  Class can be canceled anytime without prior notice due to force majeure.

  3. Attending an Online course

Following instructions provides know how about attending an online class.

  • Platform of online course

    •  Classes are operated in online meeting platforms.

    •  Procedure of joining the online learning platform is confirmed by course coordinator by email.

    •  If learner wants to experience meeting platform, the learner can ask for a demo meeting with the course coordinator by email.

    •  Bridge Academy ensures online meeting platform is easy to use, convenient for the learners and uninterrupted.

  • Online course connectivity requirement

    • Learner needs to arrange acceptable internet connection to get the visual and audio of the session.

    • Learner needs to arrange an audio device for communication during the class.

  • Ground rules of online course.

    •  Please login in the online platform with proper name. Avoid showing device names.

    • To ask any question in the class please raise your hand or notify the trainer by using messaging feather of meeting platform and wait for your turn to get clarification.

    •  Do not interrupt the instructor in the middle of lecture. Raise your hand and the instructor will find you.

    • You can also use messaging feather of online meeting platform to post your questions and coordinator / trainer will read it out for you.

    •  If u need any repeat of topic, it is better to watch the recording. However, if u have specific query, you can always ask by raising hand.

    •  Instructor will provide question answer session at the end of each topic.

    •  Class recordings of online classes are not provided in downloadable form.

  • Attendance of online course

    • Attendance of the online class are ensured by course coordinator.

    • Couse coordinator my ask for learner’s verbal confirmation for attendance.   

    •  The learner must attend 80 percent of each class hour to count attendance for the certain class.

    • 80 % attendance has to be confirmed to proceed for evaluation procedure.

    •  Class recording of online class is property of Bridge Academy and Bridge T.C.M can exercise freedom over the class recording by exercising local and international law.

    • If learner misses any class, he can request for a review from the trainer upon trainers’ availability and acceptance.

  • Assignments of online course

    •  Assignments for the online course are to be submitted by emailing the course coordinator.

  • Online learners’ evaluation exam

    •  Assessment to ensure learning goals are arranged by Bridge Academy   

    •  The evaluation format of each course is described in the course catalogue.

    •  Passing marks for the course are available in the course catalogue.

    •  Learners must attend an exam using an online meeting platform.

  • Ground rules for the online evaluation exam:

    • Learners must attend the exam 5 minutes prior to exam time, pre-defined by the course coordinator.

    • Learners must show a photo ID to the course coordinator to confirm their attendance.

    • The learner must show his face all the time during the exam.

    • A learner should be alone in a room to attend the exam.

    • The course coordinator might ask the learner to show them the room to ensure no one is present in the room.

    • Learners must ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity for the exam.

    • Interruption in connectivity for more than 5 minutes or more than 3 times will cause exam cancellation.

    • Upon finishing the exam, the learner can submit the exam and leave.

    • The exam is recorded and stored for future evaluation.

  • Certificate issuance

    •  Softcopy of the certificate is issued to the successful learner within 30 working days.

    •  A hard copy of the certificate has to be requested upon receiving the soft copy of the certificate via email. Ordering a hardcopy will cause an extra charge, which can be confirmed by contacting the course coordinator.

  1. Attending an offline course

    • Finding an offline classroom

      • Offline classroom location is described as in the advertisement circulated by Bridge Academy and further clarification regarding the class room location can be found from helpline numbers mentioned in course catalogue.

    • Learners can request a pre-visit to the classroom via email 7 days in advance.

    • Ground rules of offline course

      •  Learner must bring own computer device as required by the course coordinator.

      •  Learner must arrive 10 minutes in advance and seat at their designated seats, instructed by course coordinator.

      •  Food and beverage are discouraged in the classroom.

      •  Learner must notify through nonverbal gesture to the instructor for any question or response regarding the lecture.

      •  Learner must keep their phones in silent mode during the class hour.

      •  Learner can leave the classroom at any time for break.

      •  To leave the classroom before intended duration must be notified to the course coordinator.

    • Attendance of offline course

      •  80 % attendance is required for completion of any course.

      • Learner must attend 80% of any class hour to count attendance.

      • Course Coordinator may ask for verbal confirmation of attendance.

    • Assignments of offline course

      • Assignments are to be submitted as instructed by course instructor.

    • Offline assessment

      •  80% attendance is required to proceed for assessment procedure.

      •  Passing mark and assessment criteria are described in course catalogue.

      •  Verification of learner’s identity are done through photo id. (e.g office ID, NID, Passport, driving license)

      • Learner must bring photo id in exam center. (e.g office ID, NID, Passport, driving license)

      • Learner cannot bring materials other than instructed course materials during the exam

      • Learner cannot use any device other than calculator during the exam.

    • Certificate issuance

      •  Certificates are issued to successful candidates.

      •  Learners must fill up the course feedback form to receive certificate.

      •  Certificate are sent to the learners to the registered email id

      •  Learner can request hardcopy of certificate by sending email to the course coordinator after receiving soft copy of certificate.
